Sending a little blog love your way…

To my pleasure and delight, I have recently befriended Vanessa, owner of Jacquelyn Reece Baby and Kids and writer of “One Haute Kid” Blog.

You MUST check it out:  {Read: RUN, don’t walk!}  Her taste is impeccable, her style is extremely hip, and she has a plethora of helpful ideas for your Baby & Childrens Decor.  Not to mention, her custom bedding and monogramming are to die for!  And the bonus is that it won’t break your bank!

Check out some of these custom monogrammed designs:

Seriously, I could spend all day reading her blog and still not get enough!  It makes me want to redesign every square inch of my house!  (Shhhh…Don’t tell my husband!)  ;)

I’m really excited to be working in collaboration with her, photographing some of the fabulous rooms she has designed.  I’m also thinking of trying out some of her exquisite fabrics as backdrops – I can hardly wait!  More in store for you this summer…

Back from Japan…

and still recovering from a busy month and a little jet lag.  feeling bad for neglecting my blog…but I guess sometimes what’s more important is living life rather than worrying about all the things we didn’t do.  I am a bit behind so I hope to get back on track in the next couple of weeks with my blogging and sharing sneak peeks and maybe even a few images from my travels…

I had the joy of spending the afternoon with this lil guy on his first birthday – I can’t believe it was almost a year ago when we first met and look how big he is now!  He had so many cute expressions, I couldn’t get enough of him!

Thanks, C, for a lovely time and I look forward to photographing your family in a couple of wks!

Love Birds…

I had the wonderful, wonderful pleasure of meeting up with these two sweethearts last weekend.  I have to admit, I was a little nervous having never done an E-session (Engagement session) before.  But these two couldn’t have put me more at ease with their obvious love and adoration for one another.  My heart just melted when they told me that they had shared their first date together years ago, when she was 12 and he was 14.  It hit a sweet spot for me since Darren and I were HS sweethearts, and we weren’t reunited til later in life.  I’ve always felt that life has a interesting way of leading you down many different paths til you get to where you know in your heart you were always meant to be.  Reminds me of the beautiful lyrics of the Rascal Flatts song, “Bless the Broken Road”.  Makes me cry every time I hear it….

Thank you so much, G & S, for spending time with me and for reminding me love only grows deeper with time.  Hope you have a wonderful wedding, leading you to an even more incredible journey together ahead.
