I’m not gonna lie and say that capturing one year olds is easy as pie…it’s really a workout! The hardest part is getting them to stay in a single spot for more than 20 seconds. Usually, I have to resort to pulling out every trick in the book…and then the tricky part is getting them to smile, much less look in my direction! But when they do, oh boy, is it ever worth it!
You may recognize this beauty from our fabulous girly cupcake session, isn’t she a doll?
Oh my goodness. This has to be one of my most favorite places. Ever. Pink and black damask walls, checkered floors, glass chandeliers, yummy cupcakes! What more could a girl ask for?? I still get giddy just thinking about it! So you can imagine my gleeful excitement when my clients wanted to do a session there with just “the girls”, how adorable is that?! And these three cousins just made it all the more sweeter!
Ok, I know youare dying to know where this lil slice of heaven on earth is located…more details on this location to come later!
Just one for now…I’ve been behind my computer all week in an effort to get caught up and I’m proud to say I’m almost there. Though right now, I need to switch gears into mommy mode – I’m off to the store as we are out of milk….round here we go through almost 3 gallons of milk a week, so that’s bad news bears.

I am so blessed to know this sweet, sweet woman. She has such a giving, caring, loving spirit…it is obvious to all those that know her or even to those who are near her. I know it was in His plan that we should meet and become friends. God has taught me so much through her wisdom and faith in Him. He has great things in store for you, my friend! I still remember…my journey as a photographer began with KLB and I will never forget the first time we captured Baby C on camera. She was such an angel and I couldn’t have asked for a better session to start with. Here she is now, 2.5 yrs later!
