Anticipation.

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.  Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.  Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.  One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.  They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty – and I will meditate on your wonderful works.  They tell of the power of your awesome works – and I will proclaim your great deeds.  They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your rightgeousness.  -Psalm 145:1-7

This lil guy has a special place in my heart.  When his momma called me and told me their story…how he arrived at 31 weeks…while they were in Alabama visiting family over the holidays…and how they had to spend almost the first couple of months in hospitals, first in Tennessee and then here at Texas Children’s Hospital, I knew I had to meet this sweet angel.  And bless Mom’s heart, she waited ever so patiently for our session.  The session was first delayed a week when I was sick, and then my daughter was sick the following week.  It has been a loooong wait.  So I could not keep her waiting a moment longer…

Perfect Gift.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father…”  James 1:17

So blessed to have met and held this “good and perfect gift” this week…what a wonderful story and what a true gift from our Heavenly Father up above.  I am extremely thankful for so much this week…for the safety of my best friend and her children in Japan, for my family and loved ones, for my beloved.  Praying for those in Japan who are still recovering from such a terrible tragedy.  Blessings, peace and comfort to you all.

Beloved.

One of the best parts of my job is capturing my dear friends and their beloved family.  It is with all sincerity I can say how much I love their children, even if it’s the first time meeting their new babes, and how much I enjoy watching them grow over the years.

Thankful.

     Each day, each hour, each minute that passes,                   

                                                                                                        is usually spent, lost or wasted without much thought or concern.

                                         Each and every moment….

                                                                                                        should be treasured as a gift from God.

                                                                                                  Embrace it.            Cherish it.           Remember it.   

                                                                                                                                                                          For it never seems to last as long as you wish it would.

 

Remember this lil guy?  I was so happy to see this cutie pie again…it is amazing how fast time flies.  It just seemed like yesterday when we were capturing him at 18 mos of age.  He has definitely crossed over into boyhood and is no longer a baby now.  Well, I’m sure he’ll always be your baby, K!

But this time, lil C did not come without his brand new baby sister!  WooHoo!  I was so happy to meet this pretty lil thing…so lovely, just like her momma.

She looks just like her brother did when he was a baby!  If you don’t believe me, just see for yourself!  Baby C….

And the ever so sweet Baby M!

 

 

Those eyes just make me wanna melt.  Ummmm, good luck with that, Dad!  ;)
